Pure Drinking Water

Golly Gosh Everybody !

I just made a HUGE discovery about water filters and I have to share this!

It is crucial that we drink pure water.  My first major discovery about water filters was made back in 1987.  Here is my story:

When I was in the US Air Force, my first assignment was at Hanscom Air Force Base near Boston, Massachusetts.  After living in the Bachelor Officer's Quarters (BOQ) for awhile, I decided to get a larger place and moved into an apartment in Woburn, Massachusetts.

The first thing that I noticed in my new apartment was the the tap water ** ABSOLUTELY SUCKED ** !

The tap water was brown, and if you smelled it, it would make you nauseous.  I found out later that the tap water in Woburn, MA was so bad that it actually was highlighted in a NOVA TV special, and Hollywood even made a movie about it:  "A Civil Action" (1998) which starred John Travolta.  There were tanneries in Woburn that had buried the leftover tanning chemicals in 50 gallon drums in the ground  --  and the barrels eventually deteriorated and leached the poisonous chemicals into the ground water.

While living in my Woburn apartment, I bought a charcoal filter and tested it out.  ** IT WORKED ** !!  It made the water absolutely clear, and it tasted like plain, pure water.

I have used charcoal filters ever since.  I have never trusted tap water at all since my Woburn experience.

** FAST FORWARD TO THE PRESENT **

These days, with all the pharmaceuticals that folks are taking, when they go to the bathroom, those pharmaceuticals go into the sewer water, and in the water-treatment plants, which are supposed to "clean up" the water, they are not able to filter out the pharmaceuticals.  ** SO ** in addition to all the other crap that is in tap water, you are also ingesting residual, left-over pharmaceuticals that other folks have eliminated.

I was in Target the other day, in the process of purchasing some more charcoal filters for my Brita and Pur water filter pitchers.

On the shelf, I noticed a product named "ZERO WATER 5-STAGE PITCHER/FILTER".  It claimed to eliminate *ALL* contaminants from water, down to ZERO parts per million (PPM).  It came bundled with an electronic water tester, so that you can see exactly how contaminated any particular water sample is.  They challenged the purchaser to compare your plain tap water to your other charcoal-filtered water, and then to compare the ZERO WATER filtered water.

I was intrigued !!!  I bought the ZERO WATER 5-stage filter/pitcher and immediately upon arriving at home --  did my comparisons per their challenge.

My unfiltered tap water gave the reading:   224  PPM of contaminants.

My BRITA/PUR charcoal-filtered pitcher water gave the reading:   239  PPM of contaminants.

*****  My ZERO WATER filtered pitcher water gave the reading:   ZERO (0)  PPM of contaminants !!!!!!!  *****

I then mixed together my ZERO WATER filtered water with some of the previously BRITA filtered water, just to see if the electronic water tester would register a lower reading.  IT DID register a lower reading of  89  PPM.

!!!! OMG !!!!  I was convinced !!!!!!!!  Brita filters are CRAP !!  PUR filters are CRAP  !!

I am throwing out my other two pitchers !  I am sticking with the ZERO WATER filter forever !!!

Here is a link to a ZERO WATER PITCHER that includes the electronic water tester:

Right now, Target has this pitcher/filter on sale, so if you want to save some money, you can buy this item at a Target store.

I HOPE YOU ENJOY YOUR NEW ABSOLUTELY PURE WATER !!!!!
